Changes are occurring in real estate that offer clients a wide variety of service.

At the AGM on March 22, CREA’s membership approved amendments to CREA’s Three Pillars and Interpretations that simply clarify the way CREA’s rules actually operate.  These amendments, which Boards must follow, make it abundantly clear that a broad range of business models, include flat fee models, were acceptable and continue to be acceptable under CREA’s Rules.  Neither CREA nor Boards/Associations tell REALTORS® how to run their businesses or what fees or commissions to charge.  CREA is very disappointed that the Commissioner of Competition cannot understand this simple fact.
